We met up at Lake of The Woods, MN at Morris Point Resort, through a mutual friend. Our story began officially on May 19, 2015. Ashley was living in West Fargo, ND and Tom was living in Harvey, ND. We made several trips back and forth to see each other as much as we could. We did as much as we could on weekends. Spent as much time up at the Lake of The Woods, with friends, and family that we could.

We welcomed our sweet baby girl Miss Braelynn on April 6, 2016! She is the best thing that has happened to us. She keeps us on our toes ever since she could start walking at 10 months. We love her unconditionally.

Tom had the proposal all planned out with help of his good friend Alan. Alan came up to Harvey for what I thought was just a bbq, bonfire, and to hang out. Here to find out it was just a totally different story. Alan and his son came over to our house and hung out for a few minutes when his son asked to go down to the park to "zip line" and then asked if we wanted to come. We said yes, we just have to change Braelynn and will be down there in 10 - 15 minutes. We arrive to the park where we start walking to the play ground, Tom is carrying Braelynn he puts her down right before the flowers and sign which said, "Will you Marry Me?" Brae of courses heads right over there I turn to get her and I was instantly speechless. Tom got down on one knee and asked me the big question, "Will you Marry Me" I couldn't help but yell YES! It was PERFECT!
