This is a very busy beach in the summer, so if you plan to go here, take an uber or go really early to get a parking spot!
Where Thomas and AK will say "I do!" & kiss in front of all family and friends & dance the night away with you!
Trails for hiking and biking. Dog-friendly, and bear-friendly.
Mountain biking trail that can be accessed through Incline Village, and has beautiful views overlooking the turquoise waters of Sand Harbor. It's relatively flat and not extremely technical, but has great views.
Grab yourself a paddle board or a kayak and go down to the lake for a relaxing paddle!
My personal favorite place to go in the summer or winter to walk around and go to some shops. In the summer there is Truckee Thursdays from 3-9pm and it's a craft fair with food trucks and beer garden on the main road. It's always a good time!
First hike Thomas and AK did together! Easiest 15 minute hike from the main road by Homewood. Park on the side of the road and start the hike. You hike around to the backside of the rock and it has the most amazing view of the lake. You can even do this hike in flip flops or converse! (but mate where tennies or hiking boots if you can).
One of Annie Kate's favorite things to do is take a drive around the Lake and stop at some fun places along the way! It's about a 2 hour drive around the lake, depending on how many stops you make. Some fun places to stop: Emerald Bay, Eagle Rock (10 min hike with amazing view), Tahoe House, Squaw Valley, Tahoe University in Truckee, Potlatch in Incline Village and Cave rock in South Shore.
This is a difficult but rewarding and enjoyable hike but has a great view at the top! AK and her dad and Thomas hiked this the first time Thomas came to Tahoe and Thomas kicked our butts.
Cute little local coffee shop.
Mexican food is a must in Tahoe, especially the little family owned restaurants!
Annie Kate's favorite breakfast spots on the West shore. You have to get their fresh baked bread/muffins!
