FAQs

Question

How do I get to the ceremony and reception?

Answer

The Centennial Gondola and ski lift will take you up to our ceremony. After the ceremony it is a short walk down a gravel path to the lodge where we will have our reception. At the end of the night, you will take the same gondola down to the village. (If you need assistance at any point, please let us know!)

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Black Tie Formal Gentlemen are encouraged to wear a tuxedo or dark suit, and ladies are invited to wear a formal gown. As our ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors, we recommend choosing comfortable shoes or heels suitable for walking on outdoor surfaces. Mountain evenings can become quite cool, so we also suggest bringing a jacket, wrap, or shawl to stay warm.

Question

Is Altitude Sickness real?

Answer

Yes! Drink more water than you think you should and take it slow getting up the mountain!

Question

Alcohol in Altitude

Answer

Please be aware that altitude does affect how alcohol feels if you are not acclimated to the elevation. “One drink in the mountains may feel light and true, but up at this altitude, one can feel like two.”

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

While we adore all the little ones in our lives, our wedding is an adults-only celebration.
