How do I get to the Ceremony?

Answer

There is some construction on Holy Cross Drive this summer, so it is recommend that all wedding guests enter via the East Gate. There will be an attendant here to direct you to the Basilica and associated parking. You can get exact directions to this gate by searching "Notre Dame East Gatehouse" in Google Maps. Additionally, we have attached a map below to help direct you from the Main Gate to the East Gate. You will also be able to enter campus via the Dorr Road entrance, however there will not be an attendant at this entrance. Where should I park for the Ceremony?

Answer

Guests may park in the smaller lots closest to the Basilica—specifically the Grotto Lot, St. Liam's Lot, and Lyons Lot. Alternatively, the Lake Lot and Dorr Lot have more available spaces and offer a short, scenic walk to the Basilica. A drop-off area is also available directly in front of the Basilica entrance for those who need it. A campus map can be viewed at map.nd.edu

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Doors will open at the Basilica at 2:30 pm. It is recommended that you are seated by 2:50 as the ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00.

Where should I park for the Reception?

Answer

The reception venue is an eight-minute drive from the ceremony and is located directly next to the hotel block. If you are staying at the hotel, we recommend utilizing the provided lot so that you will not need to move your vehicle after the reception. Additionally, there is a public parking garage (Main & Colfax Garage) across from the reception venue.
