Travel Note
For those flying in, the closest airport is San Diego International Airport (SAN), located approximately 40 minutes from our wedding venue. Alternatively, you may choose to fly into Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). This option allows for a fun opportunity to explore the Los Angeles area before heading down to San Diego. Transportation options from Los Angeles to San Diego include renting a car, taking a train via Amtrak Pacific Surfliner, or booking a short domestic flight. If choosing this route , we recommend reserving multi day accommodations and arriving in the San Diego area the day prior to the wedding for a relaxed and enjoyable experience.
Travel Note
✨ For the party people: Stay near Gaslamp Quarter or Pacific Beach for nightlife, bars, and a lively atmosphere. 🍝 For foodies & walkability: Little Italy is full of amazing restaurants, cafés, and is perfect for strolling. 🌊 For beach lovers: Mission Bay, La Jolla or Encinitas offer beautiful coastal views, beaches, and a more relaxed pace. 🍷 For a wine getaway: Head to Temecula for vineyards, wine tastings, and a scenic escape. For this area, please make note of distances between the major city area and our venue. 🌿 For a quiet, countryside stay (closest to the venue): Ramona is peaceful, spacious, and ideal if you want to be near the wedding location. 🎨 For a local, artsy vibe: North Park has breweries, coffee shops, and a cool neighborhood feel. ⛳️ For the golfers: San Diego offers an abundance of excellent golf courses, so you can comfortably stay in any of the recommended areas. One of our personal favorites is Mt. Woodson Golf Club. For your convenience, we’ve also provided a linked guide with additional courses and pricing details.
House Or Rental
There are plenty of multi-bedroom Airbnb choices in the San Diego area. Great neighbourhoods to look include La Jolla, Little Italy, Gaslamp Quarter, Pacific Beach and Old Town. For groups looking to explore outside of the San Diego area, Temecula and Ramona have beautiful and large Airbnb accommodations accessible by a rental vehicle or a higher cost uber. In the Temecula area you can find wineries, BBQ restaurants and laid back activities compared with the higher energetic style of Downtown San Diego.
