What is on the menu at the reception?

Answer

Guests will be served a salad (Southwest Caesar – Crisp heart of romaine, Parmesan cheese, ancho croutons, southwest Caesar dressing), and have a plated choice of a protein entree (Charbroiled Tri-Tip - Avocado salsa, chipotle house potatoes, squash medley), or a vegetarian entree (Spinach Tortellini - Sautéed spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, alfredo sauce). There will also be a cocktail hour with appetizers. There will also be cake :)

Where should we stay?

Answer

There are a variety of hotels you can choose to stay at, based on your price point. We recommend hotels in Pismo Beach, Grover Beach, or San Luis Obispo as these are close to the venue. We did not block off any rooms, but many guests are choosing to stay at the Shore Cliff Hotel in Pismo Beach which is right next to the reception venue. If you call the hotel at 805-773-4671 and mention that you are attending a wedding you will receive a discount.

What's the bar situation?

Answer

We will have a hosted beer and wine bar with two specialty cocktails up to a certain amount. Other alcohol and alcohol past our hosted bar limit is available for purchase. No outside alcohol is allowed.

Is the ceremony or reception outside? Will I be cold?

Answer

Both are indoor venues, but always safe to bring a jacket. There is a deck outside the reception if you get warm.

Answer

Yes, but if you want less to carry, please take a look at our registry.

Smoking allowed?

Answer

No smoking is allowed at the ceremony or reception.

What are your main colors? What should I wear?

Answer

Not necessary to wear our colors (emerald green/yellow) as long as it's semi formal. Can't go wrong as long as you don't wear a white dress!

The people invited are those addressed on your invitation :)
