It was New Years Eve two years ago and we met on a dating app during the height of COVID. We began speaking and although Tom's location was Newark airport, it wasn't clear that he was only in town for the holidays. However, upon learning Tom was based in England, it wasn't enough to keep him from pursuing a relationship and six months later, we finally met in person. It was truly fate and despite the distance, we've become closer and our relationship has only blossomed with time. It was truly meant to be. Love in the time of COVID as they say :)

On the anniversary of when we first met (in person), we went on a trip to Italy where Tom proposed in the Palazzo Pfanner Gardens in Lucca. It was a beautiful and magical day, we strolled along in the garden when all of a sudden, he stepped away and came back with a speech professing his love and popped the question as we were both perfectly positioned under this floral arch in the garden.
