Let's Try This Again! (With Precautions) ❤

Update as of 2/2/21

Hello! We have our wedding day set for Sunday June 20, 2021 at our original venue, Pinecrest Weddings and Events Center (106 Pinecrest Way, Palmer Lake, CO 80133). Last year was quite the ride and we’re still figuring things out every day, but we will have precautions to make sure everyone who comes feels comfortable and safe. Although we would love all our loved ones to come, we do understand if you don’t feel comfortable coming or if our rescheduled date interferes with any plans you might have. Last year has only made our love and gratitude for each one of our loved ones even stronger and we know that even if things look a little different at our wedding than we originally planned, it will still be perfect. You can either RSVP with the tear-off card attached to the new invitation (Please write the names of everyone coming in your family on the RSVP card.) and send it in the mail, or you can RSVP on our website www.zola.com/wedding/thomas-colleen On our website you will find the schedule of the day, FAQ’s, our registry, some travel options, and more. 😁 We hope to see you there! If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us: Tommy (719) 646-7851 Colleen (719) 237-7837 E-mail: thomas.colleen8812@gmail.com

Postponed, Not Canceled 💗

Update as of 5/8/20

Well... we definitely forgot to plan for the possibility of a worldwide pandemic whilst wedding planning. 😅 After a roller-coaster of emotions, we have decided to postpone our wedding to June 20, 2021. With the many emotions that come with our wedding day, we don’t want anxiety and fear to be among them and our dream wedding is one where we can have our friends and family surround us. Since the current situation is so unpredictable, we decided to postpone the full year’s length to allow for everyone to get back on their feet and not have to worry about travel or joining in on a large group celebration so soon. Times like these, put things into perspective and family and friends are one of the most important parts of this milestone in our lives. Now more than ever, we want to look back on our wedding day and see a time where everyone could be together and celebrate the very idea of being together as one. We hope that this time around, the day will be even more sweet knowing that we could begin our marriage with a celebration of coming together after uncertain times. As always, we love you guys and hope to see you come June 20, 2021. 💗 (The wedding will still take place at the Pincecrest Weddings & Events Center in Palmer Lake, CO.) The Proposal

How did he do it?

One day Tommy asked me if we had any plans for the first weekend in December. He said that a lady at work had a cabin that she rents out that is just a little ways past Woodland Park, CO and that someone had canceled their reservation at the last minute. Something was up, and I always know because whenever Tommy tries to hold a little smile back, his lip twitches. 😂 But I wasn't entirely sure what was up. At the cabin, we were excited to try a new recipe for our dinner, and as we were cooking, Tommy was pacing all over the place. He couldn't sit still! I also kept telling him to stop leaving the lens cap off of my camera. When we finally ate dinner he was pretty quiet and I started to think he didn't like the new recipe! He assured me he did like it, but I knew something was on his mind. After dinner we were going to make some dessert, but Tommy called me over to the living room where the adorable little Christmas tree was. Then he got down on one knee and I happy danced like an excited puppy. My "CC" senses never fail! So, we don't have any pictures because I kept putting the lens cap back on the camera that he tried to set up several times, but throughout the rest of the evening it snowed big, soft, and fluffy snowflakes which made everything look just as sparkly as we felt. ❤
