The next steps...

Thomas and April met summer 2011. It was a windy day, and April was busy helping her family, when she noticed a tipi going to fall. She watched it fall confused why no one else was concerned. That is when she noticed Thomas looking at her. They both became friends immediately. With their sarcastic and witty humor both of them quickly became good friends. In 2013, that changed when April and Thomas went on a long road trip to Idaho, South Dakota, Colorado and eventually New Mexico. During this trip was when they realized there was something more than friendship and have been together ever since. Christmas of 2014, Thomas asked April to marry him in front of his two sisters and his mom. She of course said yes. It wasn't an easy journey, and both of them being the youngest of their families had a lot to learn, especially how to compromise. Through it all though they stuck through it. April became a teacher and found a love for education, and Thomas became an experiential educator, also finding his passion working with students. In 2018, Thomas and April were asked by his grandparents if they were going to be together, and if they were there was no going back. They of course agreed with all their hearts. They now continue to build each other up, always being one another's constant support and biggest fan. There isn't many places you will see either one of them apart. Despite how busy their lives are they always make the time for each other. I hope all of you are able to come and enjoy being apart of their story as they continue to live their lives together, and by finally having a wedding to share with their families. While this is only a small part of the life they created together, it is an opportunity to share with everyone they care about a part of their story.
