Some of you know already, but Cody and Haley’s parents have known each other since about High school. Cody's dad Troy worked with Rob and Angie at Central Hardware, and they also had a mutual friend that would come home on leave from the military where they would have get togethers before Cody and Haley were born and when they were little. (Cody likes to tell people that he’s known Haley's dad longer than she has-LOL) Throughout the years, the families would randomly run into each other at different events, which eventually led the Pieratts to end up at the Church where Troy preached. Cody and Haley were in the youth group together and played in the youth band but weren’t close as he is a few years older and Haley was friends with his sister, Chelsea. Life took them in different directions after highschool, but ironically some of the family members would run into each other from time to time at weddings, concerts, or county fairs. Fast forward to January 2024- Cody had recently moved to Buckeye Lake and decided to go to Winterfest with his friends, and Haley last minutely decided to get some friends together and go to Winterfest as well. They Ran into each other at one bar, went their separate ways and then ran into each other again later in the night at another bar. At last call, Cody decided to pull up a chair and talk to Haley that night, which turned into texting about life and all of the things they had in common. A few days later they were meeting for drinks to “catch up” on life and they’ve been inseparable ever since. 😊
