"Let's do forever together"

Shane and I both met while serving in the Navy. Both of us were first stationed in Bangor, WA., and although we saw eachother we never truly interacted as we were in seperate divisions. Shane and I both sailed on to new duty stations and were stationed together again in the Bahamas; I know, I know, tough gig! Shane and I became great friends and shipmates and altough we had great respect for eachother we never explored a relationship or even gave it a thought at the time. Although Shane and I were on two seperate paths, he ended his service in the Navy to become a police officer, and I continued serving for an additional 4 years; Shane still continued to check in on social media from time to time to wish me well. As most of you know I went through a really low point in my life, and it got increasingly hard when I decided to end my service in the military; Shane was right there to cheer me up and make me laugh to help me through my struggles. Shane and I began speaking daily and after a short three weeks we both knew we were made for eachother. Shane purposed to me in an Apple Orchard after 3 years together, while we were vacationing in New England where I grew up. The proposal was perfect, romantic, and I was fortunate enough to be with family at the time. Shane and I are so excited and blessed to live "Appley" ever after and look forward to seeing you all on our special day!
