Summer Solstice - Come kick off summer with us! Sunset is at 8:24 pm. After the sun goes down we will enjoy s'mores and beverages beach bonfire style! Sliders & snacks, beer and wine will be provided.

Please arrive no later than 3:45 pm Transportation will be provided to those staying at the Hampton Inn & Suites Rockland and the Rockland Harbor Hotel to and from the Samoset. Schedule to follow.

The event is coastal semi-formal: Summer styled cocktail dresses and suits. Tuxes and gowns are also welcome, but not required.
Menu First Course Tomato & Sweet Basil Salad: Fresh Mozzarella, Balsamic, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Field Greens & Garlic Crostini. Second Course Petit Filet with Grilled Maine Lobster Tail: Grilled Petit Filet Medallion served with a Herb Basted Lobster Tail, Roasted Broccolini, Baby Carrots and Mashed Potatoes Grilled Lamb Chops: Rosemary & Garlic Marinated Triple Lamb Chop with Maple Mustard Demi-Glace, Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Roasted Asparagus Maine Sea Scallops & Local Halibut: Pan Seared Scallops and Halibut with Lobster Risotto, Roasted Tomato Pesto, Baby Carrots and Broccolini Porcini & Shiitake Mushroom Strudel: Phyllo Wrapped Julienne Vegetables, Wild Mushrooms, Caramelized Leeks, Oven Roasted Tomatoes & Red Peppers, served over Parmesan Risotto and topped with Sesame Seeds & Balsamic Glaze Substitutions for allergies or dietary preferences, Vegan etc. can be made.
