You can take a taxi from the taxi line at the airport. Ensure your taxi uses the meter. If you prefer to use an app, "FREENOW" is the Uber of Greece. You can use this all over Athens to order taxis to get around. Many people choose to rent a car while in Athens, there are options to do so and collect a vehicle from the airport.

The wedding will take place in the Alimos area and the welcome dinner will be in Athens center. Recommendations of areas to stay: - Athens Center: close to the Acropolis and various tourist areas (20-25 mins to wedding venue) - Alimos: a pretty suburb near the beach - Glyfada: close to Lake Vouliagmeni and various beaches. (20-25 mins from wedding venue, 40+ mins to Athens center) Below are some hotels in each area where we were able to get a discounted rate. Please note that we haven't blocked these rooms, so if you are interested in any option, book as soon as possible.
