Sami is Kylie's cousin- but more like a sister. Sami and Kylie grew up together and were basically connected at the hip. With only about a 2 year age difference, they went through everything together and begged their parents to stay at each others houses every weekend. And if that didn't work out, they would just spend hours talking on the phone instead. From the younger years in pull-ups, to sleepovers, "sneaking out", the awkward middle school and high school days, family trips, and everything in between... Sami has been there for it all. You've been right by my side all of these years and I can't imagine not having you standing next to me on my wedding day. Talk about a no-brainer. We love you, Sami!

Kari Peterson

Maid of Honor

Kari is Kylie's college best friend and sorority "little sister." Talk about a wild 5 years together! Meeting in 2012, Kylie and Kari instantly clicked and did everything together. During their time in Cheney, WA, Kylie and Kari took advantage of every experience, every opportunity, and truly lived their best life when they were together. If anyone knows their friendship, they know that it is one of those that will last a lifetime. Kari and Kylie have traveled to Disneyland, Maui, Canada, and New Orleans together, have had too many wine nights, and have the best time just listening to Drake and talking about life. Kari, you are my best friend and I will forever be thankful that I met you during sorority recruitment. We are so excited for you to be a part of our day!

Amanda Jakubik

Amanda is one of Kylie's best friends who she met in college- working their serving jobs where they instantly hit it off! Amanda is one of those friends who would be there for you at any time of the day in a heartbeat and that you can trust with really anything. Amanda and Kylie have had some of the best laughs, all of the "perfect" margaritas (Applebee's joke), and some of the best vacations together! Amanda was there to celebrate Kylie's 21st birthday in Vegas, spent 5 nights in Seaside, OR for a rainy spring break, and has been there through all of the best and worst times of a 20-somethings life. Amanda is honest, loving, and so genuine- what a friend and WHAT A CITY! Amanda, you mean the world to me and I love you so much. We are so lucky to have your in our lives! GO BLAZERS!

Holly Crews

Holly is one of Kylie's best friends who she also met in Cheney, WA through their sorority and one night instantly clicked. Living together in college, Holly and Kylie had the best times of their life choreographing dances in the living room, walking to Safeway for double bottles of wine, rehearsing Kylie's future wedding speech (can’t wait for the real deal) sleeping till noon, and doing it all over again. Holly is hilarious, supportive, and one of those friends you can literally talk about anything with and it never gets weird. They are different in so many ways, but that’s what makes their friendship so fun. Holly, thank you for bringing me out of me shell and being able to make me laugh harder than anyone else. I absolutely cannot wait for you to a part of our big day!

Kali Dalton

Kali is one of Kylie's best friends who she met during her first year of work as a high school counselor- a school counselor herself, Kali supported Kylie from the beginning and has been the most amazing coworker and friend ever since. Kali and Kylie see each other on the daily and have realized how similar they truly are over the last few years. Between all the work fun, lunch dates, shopping, concerts, etc... Kali has been such a true friend to Kylie and is someone that she looks up to in so many different ways. Kali is one of the strongest and most caring people I know- I am so thankful and lucky to have a friend like you and can't wait to have you a part of this day!

Brittney Imade

Brittney is one of Kylie's best friends from college who she met in class in her undergraduate program- they both ended up getting accepted into EWU's graduate program for school counseling and spent the following two years together laughing, crying, and going through all of the grad school craziness... Brittney was there when Daniel and Kylie first started dating and was such a good friend to both of them through it all. Brittney and Kylie are now both school counselors, but even with the distance from Hawaii to Washington, she is always there. Brittney, you have been there with us from the beginning and I couldn't be more happy to have you standing up there with me!

Kyle Thiessen

Best Man

Kyle was an awesome big brother to Daniel growing up. You could see in the old pictures Kyle was ecstatic to have Daniel enter the family. Even through the dead arm battles their brotherly bond was strong. Kyle and Daniel can easily tell what the other is thinking about something without even saying a word. They are both completely content hanging out and playing video games for hours on end together, a bond grown around the competition of playing the original PlayStation and N64 and their 1v1 football games. They share a big passion for the Seattle Mariners, and everyone knows hardships only bring people closer (19 years is a long time). It was an obvious and simple pick to have Kyle as the Best Man.

Adam Thiessen

Adam was always the older brother that loved the pranks and wrestling around, probably fitting as he was a top state wrestler in high school. While he still loves the pranks and wrestling, Adam is quick to share his love for family. He had Daniel stay at his house during Summer and breaks from college, leading to numerous long nights of life talks and bonding. Adam has been one of Daniel’s biggest supporters in all of his journeys and is consistently talking about how proud he is. This is likely why he is turning out to be an awesome dad to his boys. Easy decision to have Adam be part of this day.

Torey Thiessen

Groomsman

Torey is the older brother that is always making jokes and telling stories. Torey is always looking to make those around him have a laugh or a good time. He is ready when asked to help friends and family simply because he cares about them. I will always be thankful that he rode all the way over to Cheney for a day just to help me move my things from college for the last time. Family and friends can always rely on Torey to help them get things done and that’s the big reason I could not have this day without him up there with me.

Brandon Flynn

Brandon and Daniel have been best friends since 4th grade. It all started with owning the same vest and went on to spending countless hours of walking around the playground together. Brandon and Daniel also worked the sales floor at Just Sports for a few years together after high school. Brandon’s house became like a second home for several years, spending many days and nights playing video games, having many existential conversations and watching Step Brothers over and over and over. The bond is essentially a brotherhood and always will be. I can’t imagine him not being a part of this day with me either.

Justin Burns

Justin and Daniel started their friendship all the way back in Kindergarten. They played on different sports teams together growing up and were always down for a pickup football game at the church. They spent many summer days hanging out around Auburn, including jumping off Justin’s roof into the pool. To this day, that is probably the worst sunburn either of them have ever had. During the winter they could be caught “painting the town red” as Justin would say. Daniel and Justin’s family made it somewhat of a tradition to attend Def Leppard concerts together where they would both belt out their beautiful voices. After all these years it was an easy pick to have you a part of this big day!

James Swanson

James and Daniel both started going to Eastern Washington University in 2013. James spent the majority of his time at Daniel’s apartment playing video games and hanging out. For three years after that James and Daniel were roommates in Cheney and have countless college memories that they will always remember (or not remember so much). James has always been a friend others can rely on for help no matter the request. James has been around all the while Kylie and Daniel have been together and was even both of their roommates for a year. We are so happy to have you with us as we hit this next chapter.
