WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!

After two days of working with Mr. T and a nice pair of shoes, I told my best friends I was going to marry him one day.... One date and the rest was history! Two years later, we are working together at the exact place we first met. We have had so many sweet memories and adventures together, and have learned how to face the challenging parts of life as a couple. I’m so glad I found my person who didn’t just choose me, but my package of a deal best friends! I am so excited to start this next chapter of our lives filled with many more Fuzzy Fridays, game nights, and ESPN.

In January of 2018, I decided to take a short term teaching position until I returned to college at the end of the month. As I walked into school that first day, I had no idea that I would end up meeting the love of my life. I entered the school and headed toward my classroom when out of no where, there she was. In my head I thought, “Well this just got a lot better.” Over the next few weeks I found any excuse to talk to her. I spent countless breaks getting to know her. It took me all of one day to realize that I wanted to ask her out. However, my biggest fear was that I would ask her out, she would say no, and then I would be stuck in a super awkward situation....so I decided to wait. At the end of the two weeks I decided it was finally time to ask her out. When she said yes, it was one of the proudest moments of my life! Who would have guessed that me walking into the school that day would have paved the way for where we are today.
