Wedding Party

Meet our family and friends who are walking down the aisle with us. We couldn't imagine this day without them by our sides!

Emily Simon

Bridesmaid

I met Emily during my junior year as a member of Alpha Delta Pi. We instantly knew that we needed to be friends and were inseparable from then on. Emily and I are the type of friends that finish each other's sentences on accident and constantly surprise each other with how similar we can be- but truthfully she shares more similarities to Scotty. She is the truest definition of a friend and I have warned Scotty that by marrying me, he is stuck with both of us. Emily is working on finishing up her degree in Elementary Education from UL, and though she calls Michigan her home state, she has fallen in love with South Louisiana and plans to reside here. Emily will be walking down the aisle with Christopher Mistretta.

Christopher Mistretta

Groomsman

Christopher is my younger brother by two years. As children, our contrasting personalities made for some "challenges", but as we have grown up, he has become one of my best friends. He is stubborn, driven, and one of the goofiest people I know. Chris enjoys hunting, fishing, and doing anything to drive my mother crazy. If you spot someone on the dance floor with a cowboy hat, it's Chris. He is working towards a degree in Construction Technology at Southeastern University. Chris will be walking down the aisle with Emily Simon

Reagan Smith

Bridesmaid

I met Reagan during my Sophomore year of high school while being the new girl at Parkview. Reagan and I called each other soul sisters from early on in our friendship and she has remained one of my truest friends, even after spending over five years in different cities. I knew Reagan would stand by my side at my wedding the moment we became friends. She is kind and genuine and we share so many similarities. Although Reagan has talents that could qualify her to be a detective, she graduated with a nursing degree in 2018 and currently works as an RN in the labor and delivery unit at Oschner in Baton Rouge. Reagan will be walking down the aisle with Chase Thomas.

Chase Thomas

Groomsman

Chase is one of Scotty's longest friendships and he is someone that both Sarah and Scotty are very thankful for. He has shared the role of a best friend and a roommate over the course of their friendship. They have shared so many memories together and he is someone that we know will always be around no matter where life takes us. Chase is passionate about two things: football and baseball. Chase will be walking down the aisle with Reagan Smith.

Stephanie Jacobsen

Bridesmaid

Stephanie and I met during our eighth-grade year after she made the cross country move from Nevada. Despite being raised in vastly different areas of the country, she instantly became one of my closest friends and has remained one of my best friends for nearly a decade now. Our friendship has survived her moves to Illinois, Mississippi, and back to Louisiana and living in different cities for over seven years. I consider her my most down-to-earth friend and I am so proud of all she has accomplished. Stephanie graduated from LSU in 2018 and will be wrapping up her MBA from LSU-S in December. Stephanie will be walking down the aisle with Blane DeArmond.

Blane Dearmond

Groomsman

Blane is Scotty's "little" cousin, but only by a few months. They have spent their entire lives growing up together and have remained close friends. After Blane's service in the Army, he and Scotty became roommates and coworkers. It's safe to say that Blane and Scotty have spent their fair share of time together. Blane is always down for a conversation on politics, Star Wars, or craft beer; but we don't recommend getting him started. Blane will be walking down the aisle with Stephanie Jacobsen.

Cody Ezell

Flower Child

If there was ever a friend suited for the role of “flower Man”, it’s Cody. And if you’re looking for a good time, Cody is your guy. He is wild and definitely knows how to have a good time. But he is also hard working and loyal. Cody and Scotty shared an apartment for two years together, and if their friendship survived their different living styles, it can survive anything. You can usually find Cody in a duck blind, deer stand, or really anywhere that involves Miller Lite.
