We originally met all the way back in high school at a school musical. We spent years apart, reconnecting every so often. Until the moment was right in May 2025, and we’ve been inseparable ever since.

As we were driving to Roy's parents' house along lake Ontario he mentioned going back out in the freezing cold to look at the snow along the water, he had to beg Michelle for her to agree. Once we got home it was too early and the photographer wasn't there yet so Roy had to stall, so he went to the bathroom. After a few minutes (which felt like an eternity for Roy), it was time. Michelle was already cozy on the couch and refused to get up so Roy had to drag her off to go outside. Once they got to the spot by the lake, Roy got down on one knee and proposed. Instead of a simple yes, Michelle tackled him to the ground (out of excitement of course).

Before we got engaged, we had already decided we couldn't wait for the big day to officially be married. Our original plan was to get married on our one-year mark for dating, but the May wasn't working out. So, Michelle said "Why not get married on the date of our big wedding? Then there's only one day to celebrate." And that's what we did, minus one day. We got married on 2/26/2026, and can't wait to celebrate with you all on 2/27/2027!
