FAQs

Question

Will there be a bar?

Answer

There will be an open bar. Please drink responsibly and plan transportation and/or lodging accordingly. This is a special day, and we do not want drinking and driving-we love you guys so please be safe!

Question

Is this an unplugged ceremony?

Answer

While we aren’t considering this “unplugged,” we do want you to be present with us, and considerate of the fact that we have hired a professional photographer. However, we do understand that often guests may want some photos for themselves, we will allow a social media minute so that you may still take these photos. This will be one minute to take photos from your seat, following the processional. Before and after this minute, we ask that you have phones put away and silenced. If you post any photos, please use our wedding hashtag #finallythezuerchers.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids who have been included on the RSVP are welcome to both events, however, please be mindful that there will be drinking and minimal other children at the event. It is recommended that children are not at the reception once all other wedding events have been completed as this is the adult time and will essentially consist of just partying.

Question

Will Ricky and Charlie be there?

Answer

Yes-both of our beloved golden boys will be in attendance for the ceremony, so please plan accordingly if anyone dislikes dogs or has any sensitivities or allergies.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

No, within reason. We don’t expect formal attire, we will love you as you come, but please be mindful that there will be photos and this is an event which we will remember forever. Most of our family and friends plan to dress in their “Sunday best,” whatever this may be for them. You’re absolutely welcome to wear blue jeans. Please be mindful we are getting married on a farm and will be walking in grass and gravel, so please choose footwear accordingly (heels would not be recommended).

Question

It’s a sod farm. Can we be on the grass?

Answer

No. Please stay off the grass. No walking, driving, smoking, etc. beyond what is planned for the ceremony. There should be nobody on the grass once the ceremony has finished.

Question

Can we smoke?

Answer

Smoking will be allowed on the patio or in the driveway, so long as the cigarette butts are disposed of in the provided ash trays.

Question

Will there be food?

Answer

Yes. Please utilize the RSPV card included in your invitation to make your food selections. The options are a pulled chicken sandwich, or a black bean burger (v).
