Question

What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

Friday November 22nd will be the last day to RSVP! Please respond via our online wedding website or please contact one of us directly so we can add your response to our guest list!

Question

What time should we arrive at the wedding?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4pm sharp! Please plan accordingly to arriving at least 30 minutes ahead of time to gather and find a seat! Cocktail hour and reception will follow shortly after at the same location.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors/outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony/cocktail hour will be in an outdoor setting under a BEAUTIFUL shaded moss oak tree. Pavers surround the ground making it easy for anyone who plans on wearing heels. The reception will take place in an air conditioned barn.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding guests should be dressed in formal/semi-formal attire! Feel free to match the wedding’s “earthy/muted/gold accent” colors and “boho/whimsical/nature” theme. Due to Florida’s weather, please plan accordingly if December decides to be cooler, bring a jacket and maybe even comfy dancing shoes! And of course, in respect to the bride, NO white/cream/ivory!

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

Select kids of family/friends have been invited to the wedding guest list, however this does not mean they have to attend! Although we would love to see everyone’s kids, we understand/encourage the adults to have a deserved night out to themselves! We want everyone to be able to fully enjoy the party without the worry of wrangling little hands.

Question

Will there be a kid’s corner/area?

Answer

The bridal suite will also convert into an area to escape for the kiddos! An adult over the age of 18 must accompany any child in that designated area! Anyone who needs a moment alone in a quiet area, with a little one, is welcome to take a breather. There is a separate bathroom/small kitchen/TV with Wi-Fi/bedroom and living area.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We have limited seating that has been hand selected for the family/friends we have invited! If their name is not on the invitation/RSVP section, we may not have the room to accommodate an extra seat.

Question

What type of food will be served at the wedding?

Answer

We are thankful to have Mission BBQ cater for our wedding! Finger food (pimento cheese/mahi fish dip) will be during cocktail hour. Reception dinner will have a choice of 2 meats (chicken/brisket), 2 sides (cheesy mashed potatoes/green beans), and a selection of rolls/sauces and drinks (lemonade/teas/water). If you have a food allergy/restriction, please don’t hesitate to let us know!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

There will be an open bar with a variety of drinks, along with specialty “his & her” drinks that we will encourage you to enjoy! Please drink respectfully and responsibly, guests under 21 of course will not be served any alchohol!

Question

Can we take photos at the wedding?

Answer

We ask that we have an unplugged ceremony to allow our photographer to capture the moment for us all! Before/after the ceremony you are more than welcome to take as many videos/photos as you want! Send them to us too!

Question

Is there a smoking area?

Answer

Yes, they have designated smoking areas by the fire-pit and patios by the bride/grooms suites. NO smoking/vaping inside the buildings. NO littering, there is wildlife here, please pick up after yourselves.

Question

Will there be a rehearsal?

Answer

This is for the bridal party! Everyone in the party will be instructed on rehearsal date/time closer to the wedding! Along with any other information for anyone in the actual wedding!

Question

Is there anything to do around this area?

Answer

The venue is about 20-30 minutes from Orlando Fl! There are many hotels/air bnbs in the area as well as restaruants and plenty of things to do while you are here if you are planning to make a trip of this magical weekend!

Question

Is there a registry?

Answer

We don’t have a registry however we are asking if you would like to give a gift, that it be something towards our “Next Adventure” fund! You can find this on our wedding website. If you can’t give a gift electronically, we will have a card box at the wedding as well! Please don’t feel pressured to give a gift! Your presence is the best gift! We appreciate you all!
