Although the courthouse will have our signatures on the dotted line, we know it won’t be real in our eyes until you witness us make the commitment in the Church.

Formal Attire
We are celebrating our marriage in the ruins of a church that predates the formation of the United States in 1776. It was intended to house the statue of Saint Joseph. The little hermitage became the house of worship of the needy people of the district. It’s reported that the church was damaged in the earthquake of 1751.

Mayan Ceremony

We will have a Mayan Ceremony on the shore of Lake Atitlan, which is actually a holy place in the Mayan religion. A Shaman will bless us and our union. She will be graciously sharing her ancient, sacred knowledge and tradition with us. The ceremony requires every guest to bless us and we are so fortunate to have everyone we love share this with us.
