Wedding site is an hour from all 3 major airports in the DMV (Baltimore Washington Int'l, Reagan National Airport and Dulles Int'l Airport).

If you wish to stay near where we live (Ellicott City), BWI would be the closest airport and would keep you fairly central to Baltimore, DC and the wedding site in Frederick - 25 minutes to DC and Baltimore and 35 minutes to Frederick. There are a few hotels in the Columbia/Ellicott City area.

Baltimore, DC, and Frederick offer different types of experiences. DC has the obvious tourist attractions like the White House, Smithsonian, and war memorials.  But Baltimore is just as rich in American history.  Visit the Star Spangled Banner flag house and Fort McHenry.  Then imbibe in the same Fell's Point pubs frequented by Ben Franklin and Edgar Allen Poe.  Frederick has more of a small town feel with quaint shops lining an historic main street.  The surrounding farmland has plenty of charming vineyards and craft breweries.
