FAQs

Please read the below and reach out if you have any additional questions.
Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding will be a formal affair. We encourage gentlemen to wear a suit and tie, while ladies may opt for a midi or floor-length formal dress. We can’t wait to see everyone dressed their best! We kindly request that you do not wear denim, sneakers or the following colors - white, ivory, cream, yellow, anything overly vibrant or with loud patterns. Ladies should choose footwear comfortable for the lawn.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held outdoors on the waterfront of Sarasota Bay.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you arrive at 4:30pm as we will begin the ceremony promptly at 5pm.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

As we're keeping it intimate, we will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation. If you have a plus one, it will be noted on your invitation and when you RSVP.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event. We appreciate you making arrangements in advance!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We would appreciate RSVPs as soon as possible in order to plan accordingly. If your RSVP is not received by the date listed on the invitation, we will unfortunately have to mark you as a NO due to final vendor count deadlines.

Question

Will the bar be open or cash?

Answer

The drinks are on us! Please remember to bring an ID.

Question

Is there transportation for the wedding?

Answer

Yes, we will have trolleys available to ALL guests! The trolleys will drop off and pick up outside of The Sarasota Modern in downtown. Trolleys to the wedding will depart at 4:15pm.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, parking is available. However, we strongly suggest the utilization of transportation provided or uber/lyft to enjoy the open bar safely. The venue may not be open the following day if a vehicle is left overnight.
