There and Back Again: A Love Story
Once upon a midnight dreary...
Just kidding. But our favorite couple shares a history that stretches back to a place much scarier than any haunt Poe could conjure; that's right, middle school homeroom! Kira and Tom spent both middle and high school together as casual friends, exchanging flirtations, a viking helmet (?!), and pining send-offs in eachothers' senior yearbooks.
Years passed and under the frenzy of a college daze, our two ships-passing-in-the-night chartered different courses. But on one fortuitous evening in 2014, Tom saw Kira perform at The Hub Billiard Club (a true Island Park landmark). They caught up after her set, and it was as if they had never parted; there was an electricity between them that would spark afresh the next time they saw each other...
I'll stop here (curse the 1000 character limit!), but it wasn't long after they graduated college that Kira and Tom fell deeply in love and never looked back. Will there ever be another love like theirs? Nevermore!
