Horseneck Beach
Westport is a hidden gem with several beaches and waterfront areas to explore while you are in town. Horseneck beach is open to the public and one of the best options for those traveling from out of town.
Cliff Walk
Only a 30-minute drive from Westport, MA is iconic Newport, Rhode Island. One of the best places to visit is the Cliff Walk along the Newport Mansions. Downtown Newport also features many shops, bars, restaurants, and museums - also great options to explore.
Mirasol's Café
By far the local favorite, mainstay for coffee and sandwiches. Our favorite is the Chai latte with hemp milk and Spicy Asparagus sandwich veganized.
Coastal Roasters
Another coffee recommendation in Tiverton, RI with beautiful seating by the water.
Westport Rivers Vineyard
Local vineyard and winery. Open for tasting and tours in the summer. Wonderful place to watch the sunset.
Beehive Cafe
Incredibly delicious - an ideal spot for weekend brunch. Also right across the street from the bristol harbor (where Abby grew up sailing in the summer) and in historic downtown Bristol known for the oldest 4th of July Parade in the country.
Plant City
For the vegans (and non-vegans too)! The first Matthew Kenney plant-based food hall in Rhode Island. Great option if you are in PVD for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
Boat House Waterfront Dining
A local spot for New England waterfront dining. Reservations recommended.
Evelyn's Drive-In
Classic New England drive-in for seafood lovers - featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. Abby used to work here during high school for her summer job as a prep cook manning the grill in the kitchen.
