Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

There are room blocks for both the AC Marriott and the Fairfield Inn, which can be accessed through the Travel page above. These hotels are walking distance from each other and a short distance from all of the events. The AC Marriott has a fun rooftop bar which we plan to be frequent visitors of throughout the wedding weekend!

Is transportation provided?

Answer

Yes! Shuttle busses will pick up from both hotels, transport guests from the ceremony to the reception, and provide travel back to the hotels at the end of the evening. The shuttles will begin making trips to the church at 3:00pm and the last shuttle will leave the hotel at 3:45pm. At the conclusion of the evening, the shuttles will make trips from The Grande Hall to both hotels from 9:30-11:00pm.

Is there parking at the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes! There is a parking lot next to St. Mary Catholic Church and there is complimentary parking in the parking garage directly across the street from The Grande Hall. Additionally, there is a parking lot across from America's Packard Museum for the welcome party on Friday evening.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The welcome party is business casual attire and the wedding ceremony and reception are black tie optional.

Is the ceremony going to be a full mass?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony should last approximately one hour.
