Logan and I met in 2019 while he was still enlisted in the Marine Corps. We spent the first two years of our relationship long distance, which wasn’t easy. We went months at a time where we didn’t see each other, and at one point he was stationed in Japan, leaving us with a 15-hour time difference for eight months. It definitely tested us, but it also made our relationship stronger. After finishing his four years in the Marine Corps and completing school in Riverside, Logan moved home and we got our first apartment together. After a few months, we made our way to Worden, where we’ve been ever since. People sometimes ask why we didn’t get married sooner. The truth is, we just never felt rushed. We’ve spent years growing together, building a life, and creating a relationship that already felt like a marriage. Now, we’re excited to make it official, get the government involved, and celebrate with all of our favorite people.
