While you may not be able to catch a show as the inside of the auditorium is undergoing renovations, the architecture of this iconic and historic building is something you won't want to miss! Be sure to check it out as it's just across the street from St. Joseph's!
This little local landmark was built in the 1800s and is great for sightseeing! It's about a 5 minute walk from St. Joseph's.
This giant sculpture is a tribute to Claude Chana, who is sometimes called "the Founding Father of Auburn" because he first discovered gold in the area. It's just a 2 minute drive from St. Joseph's church and marks the entrance to Old Town Auburn, which is very walkable!
Come learn a little about Placer County history! This museum houses the Placer County Gold Collection and the Pate Collection of American Indian Artifacts. You'll probably want to drive to this one, but once you're here, the rest of Old Town Auburn is within walking distance!
The inside is not open to the public, but visitors are welcome to look inside the windows and take pictures outside. It was built in 1893 and you can still see the original bell, located on the third floor under the roof. If you make the short drive to Old Town Auburn you can walk around and check it out!

This quaint little park is an adorable pocket tucked away in Old Town Auburn! There are many picnic tables and benches to enjoy the surrounding flowers and trees. Like the rest of old town, its less than a 5 minute drive from St. Joseph's church and once you're there you can walk around the area and explore!
