There was a time in my life when I honestly thought love just wasn’t meant for me. I had always dreamed of finding my perfect match, my dream girl, but I could never seem to find my person , I began to wonder if it was all just a fantasy. I figured maybe it would always be a dream, nothing more. Then, one day, I got lucky. I went on a date with Victoria, and from that moment, everything changed. I’ll never forget that night—the rain was pouring down, and she walked up wearing a rain coat with the hood up. When she pulled back her hood, I felt like my world had just shifted. I knew, with every fiber of my being, that this was the woman I had been searching for, the one who had been waiting for me just as much as I had been waiting for her. From that moment on, everything just clicked. Date after date, laugh after laugh, my love for her only deepened. It didn’t take long for me to realize that this was the person I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. Every adventure, every movie night, every quiet moment together—each one made me more certain that I wanted her by my side forever. I knew in my heart, with absolute certainty, that I wanted to marry her.

Our story started in the most modern way possible — on Tinder! We swiped right & quickly discovered we had so much in common. What started as some casual messaging turned into long conversations, endless laughs, and, eventually, our first date. Which, by the way, was the first (& last) time I’ve witnessed Jake completely speechless. We spent hours talking, getting to know each other, & realizing how much we enjoyed being together—whether we were catching the sunset or just hanging out & talking. It wasn’t long before we both knew we’d found something special. As time went on, our connection only grew stronger. We’ve shared so many adventures, supported each other through ups and downs, & made a ton of memories. Then, on July 27, 2024, Jake popped the big question, & naturally, I said yes!
