October is one of the best times of year to visit Florida for the weather alone. In October, high temperatures usually hover between 80 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit, with lows between around 70 degrees Fahrenheit, varying by region.

What airport should we fly into?

Here are two recommendations: Tampa International Airport (TPA) is 19 minutes from the wedding venue, and 22 minutes from our preferred hotel. There are multiple options for alternative guest lodging in the Tampa area for those who prefer. Orlando International Airport (MCO) is about an hour and a half from both the wedding venue and our preferred hotel. This airport is a good option for those who wish to extend their stay at Disneyworld and nearby attractions.
