This Is The Place Heritage Park
On July 24th, 1847, Brigham Young looked out from his covered wagon after the legendary trek from Nauvoo, Illinois, gazed upon the Salt Lake Valley, and declared "This is the Place" — and the rest is history! Regardless of your faith, it's a wonderful spot to learn about pioneer influence, ride horseback, chat with reenactors, and walk beautiful nature trails with unbeatable views of the valley.

Red Butte Garden and Arboretum
