Ride Washington’s oldest foot ferry from the marina to Blaine for a scenic, nostalgic trip (seasonal; check schedule).

Rocky beaches, tide pooling, crabbing/shellfishing (licenses needed), short hiking trails (e.g., Terrell Marsh interpretive trail), swimming, and mountain views. Excellent for families.
Peace Arch Historical State Park
Iconic monument on the U.S.-Canada border with gardens, lawns, and easy walks. A quick, symbolic photo stop (open daily; Discover Pass may be required).

Fresh oysters from their own farm (raw or grilled), seafood small plates, and harbor views. Casual, vibrant spot with great wine/beer. Highly recommended! The Vault Wine Bar & Bistro (Blaine): Intimate spot in a historic bank building. Excellent wines (hundreds of bottles), PNW cuisine, small plates, and a cozy patio. Perfect for a romantic or relaxed dinner. Paso Del Norte (Blaine): Authentic Mexican food with a big menu, friendly service, and generous portions. Good for groups and families. Bay Breeze Restaurant & Bar or The Beach at Birch Bay: Beachfront vibes with fresh seafood, comfort food, cocktails, and live music some nights. Relaxed coastal atmosphere.

A round of golf at the private course, can play if staying at resort. Great Blue Heron Grill (at the Golf Club, ~3 miles away): Casual comfort food, steaks, seafood, burgers, and Sunday brunch with golf course views. Locally sourced and relaxed.
