Wedding Party

Andrea Roman

Maid of Honor

My sister, the middle child, the artistic one. Even though she's 4 years younger, everyone thinks she's the oldest of the 3 Roman sisters. I will never forget that weekday in Athens when we saw Beach House! We have shared even more adventures together with our youngest sister and I'm so excited she will be part of our wedding! An impeccable taste in fashion and an eye for design made her my Maid of Honor and my right hand woman.

Kenny Lu

Best Man

The big man on campus, always surrounded by freshmen (he was a freshmen RA for 3 years) and in his unmistakable red Angels cap (He's from Boston too...). We didn't take too many classes together nor were we ever roommates, but we've been friends since freshman year and spent countless hours in the math dept. lounge, studying together and discussing the finer points of Rush, glottal vs. alveolar stops, how the heck to program splines, and freaking combi :-p. Kenny was the glue of our friend group, and our college experience wouldn't have been the same without him.

Gisselle Roman

Bridesmaid

My sister, the youngest, the princess. She is my go to for all things music, 50s and makeup. She makes me laugh and I'll never forget our trip down to Orlando Universal Studios! I love looking back at the home videos we have of her as a baby dancing to "La Bomba" and other latin songs! She was literally the cutest baby of the 3 Roman sisters! I'm so proud of her for going to college and working at the same time! The sky's the limit Gisselle!

Mike Piston

Groomsman

Like Kenny, Mike and I have been friends since Stever House first floor our freshman year. That year, we took Physics, Calc II, and Multivariate (Greggo...!) together so we spent a lot of time together in the study lounge cramming for all our midterms. We were roommates senior year and during grad school when all our friends went off to the "real" world. I'll always fondly remember grad school reading/studying in our apartment and venturing out into the polar vortex for happy hour in Shadyside.

Andy Waller

Bridesmaid

I've known Andy for forever! We went to the same high school, but didn't talk until after I graduated. We met at work and have been great friends since! Every time we meet up, it's like no time has passed. We like to get coffee at Starbucks and talk about life and everything in between. She was also the inspiration for getting my tattoo when I was 20. ;P

Michael Nguyen

Groomsman

I am so happy my sister married Michael. He is an incredibly supportive person and practically feels like a true brother to me. Visiting my sister and him in LA for Thanksgiving is always one of the highlights of my year. They're trying their hardest to get us to move out to SoCal, and maybe they'll convince us one of these days.

Elizabeth McDaniel

Bridesmaid

My roommate, my friend, my Calcium, the Lucy to my Ricky and soon to be Dr. McDaniel! We shared West Mary room 312 my first semester as a Freshman at Berry College. She had already been there for Fall semester and found out she had a new roomie! We hit it off and 7 years and thousands of miles later, she's still one of my closest friends! I need to make time to head out to Montana more often!

Dylan Mori

Groomsman

Like Kenny (and Mike--there's a pattern developing here), Dylan and I have also been friends since freshman year when we lived on the same floor. During our Sophomore year, we were roommates together in what had to be the smallest dorm room on campus (no A/C either), so we spent a lot of time in the lounge down the hall from us or hanging out in Wehar and Piston's room on the floor below ours.

Megan Rodriguez

Bridesmaid

My roomie, my friend and first time mom! My first semester at Berry College, I met Megan through my roommate Elizabeth. After a freak storm hit Berry that first winter, we grew close and have been great friends since then! We were never roommates in college, but we got the chance to be when I got a job in her school at the time. Those were 2 great years! I cannot WAIT to meet baby Sophia in September! <3

Mike Wehar

Groomsman

Yep, we all lived on the same floor together freshman year. Same story here. Mike is genuinely one of the nicest people you will ever meet. He was the whiz kid of our group with wide-ranging interests from his math studies (of course) to drumming to religion to composing his own electronic music and editing film projects. We are all deeply indebted to him for elevating our conversation (and getting us through our hard math classes :-p).

For all the days along the way
