We are getting married!

The happy couple connected in Baton Rouge while Meredith was beginning her senior year at LSU and Dylan was working at Amwins. Fred’s in Tigerland was the site of their first introduction. What started as a simple hello quickly turned into something neither of them could have expected. From that night on, they knew there was something special between them. Baton Rouge was the beginning of the story, but it didn’t take long to realize this was the start of a much bigger adventure. After months of colluding with family and friends, Dylan popped the question on July 4, 2025, during a beach walk in Orange Beach under the pretense of “scouting photo ops.” The moment was perfect, full of love, laughter and just the right amount of nerves. Meredith had been suspicious, of course, but she played along so Dylan could execute his plan. Over the last few years, they have built a life filled with simple pleasures and shared passions. Whether it is hitting the golf course together, cooking dinner side-by-side, or spending slow Sundays watching movies and enjoying each other’s company, these are the moments that draw them closer and fill their lives with joy. Every day they find new reasons to laugh, explore, and celebrate life together and cannot wait to see what the next chapters hold.
