Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, the dress code is black-tie optional/formal. Men can wear dark suits or tuxedos - but a tuxedo is not required. Women can wear floor-length gowns or cocktail dresses.

Are kids welcome?

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event (besides our nieces and nephews) so our guests can relax and enjoy the evening! We truly appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving your little ones at home so you can celebrate with us :)

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Your formal invitation will specify how many seats have been saved in your honor.

How far from the ceremony is the reception venue?

Answer

It is about a 25-30 minute drive. Given the ceremony will end likely during rush hour on a Friday, we provided enough time for guests to get to cocktail hour or back to the hotel for transportation on time, so there is no rush :)

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, both the Church and reception venue have parking.

Is there transportation provided?

Answer

Yes! There will be shuttles to the reception at Deerfield, but not the ceremony. Transportation will be provided from the Courtyard to Deerfield after the ceremony (around 5) and back after the reception ends. There are no shuttles from the Hyatt.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! Drinks are on us at cocktail hour and the reception. If attending the after party at Grottos, please plan to have payment options available!
