Our first encounter was in 2005, we met at King College Prep High School (Chicago,IL) homecoming dance. We became acquainted through Tanisha's best friend and Vonche's cousin Diamond. Over the years we became good friends, however disconnected during our college years. Fate would have it, that during a trip to Atlanta, GA in 2014, the relationship was not only rekindled but it blossomed into the beginning of our love story. At the time we least expected it, we found our forever.

July 7, 2018 is a day we will never forget because it was a day full of happy tears and emotions. After Tanisha received her MBA, we went to Sweet Auburn Seafood (Atlanta, GA) with close family and friends. The day was full of speeches and Vonche stressed how he wanted to save his speech for dinner. At dinner, Vonche made a speech thanking everyone for their continuous support. As the speech went on he reminisced about our relationship and stated, "From the moment you became my girlfriend, I wanted you to be my wife" Then came the first step, Vonche proposed!
