Where should I stay?

Answer

We highly recommend staying at Lake Lawn Resort, where our wedding events will take place. We have reserved a room block for guests, and booking details can be found on the Travel & Stay section of our website. If the resort fills up, there are additional hotel options nearby in Delavan and Lake Geneva.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before the ceremony begins so you have time to park, find your seat, and settle in. We’d love for everyone to be seated before the ceremony starts.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If a plus one has been reserved for you, it will be listed on your invitation and RSVP. Due to venue capacity, we kindly ask that only those listed on the invitation attend.

Can I bring my children?

Answer

While we absolutely adore your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration, with the exception of children who are participating in the wedding party. We hope this gives everyone a chance to relax and enjoy a fun night away!

Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony is planned to be outdoors overlooking Delavan Lake, weather permitting, with indoor accommodations available if needed. Cocktail hour will also be held outdoors. We recommend dressing for a warm August day by the lake. The reception will then be held indoors for the rest of the evening.

Are transportation and parking available?

Answer

Yes! Complimentary parking is available at Lake Lawn Resort for all guests. Since everything is on property, guests staying at the resort can easily walk to wedding events.

What will the weather be like in August?

Answer

Wisconsin summers are usually warm and beautiful, with average August temperatures ranging from the mid-70s to low-80s during the day and cooler evenings by the lake. We recommend bringing a light layer for nighttime, just in case.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask guests to be fully present with us during our ceremony. Feel free to snap all the photos you’d like during cocktail hour and the reception, but please keep phones tucked away during the ceremony itself.

Will food and drinks be served?

Answer

Absolutely! We’ll have dinner, drinks, and plenty to celebrate with throughout the evening. Come hungry and ready to party!

Are you registered?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is truly the greatest gift. However, if you would like to celebrate with a gift, we are registered at Crate and Barrel and Zola, and we appreciate your generosity so much.
