Stetson and Lachelle met in 2018 at the church they currently attend in Chicago. They both went years without saying nothing more than "hey, how you doing?" when they'd cross paths. Lachelle thought Stetson was "funny acting" for years because he'd only give one word responses. Turns out, he's just an introvert and was ALSO too nervous to talk to her back then. Meanwhile Lachelle, being an extreme extrovert and can hold a conversation with anyone, even a wall if given the opportunity (lbvs), had no clue he was an introvert and had his eyes on her. If you let Stetson tell the story, he thought Lachelle was rude because she stopped talking to him when they would see each other and he didn't understand why. He's also convinced that she was just in denial of her feelings towards him back then. Stetson: "She just wanted a playa and didn't know how to say it" lol. Lachelle: "smh... boi stop" lol. One Sunday in the Spring of 2021 as Stetson was doing security on stage at church, Lachelle noticed he kept starring at her during service. In her mind she thought "what's to this dude and why is he starring at me" lol. After church that day, Lachelle was on her way to dinner with her family, she receives a DM from Stetson asking is she single and interested in going on a date with him. Lachelle immediately thought "That's why he was starring at me" lol. She replied "Sure, that would be nice". Their first date was at Stax Cafe for breakfast and because they didn't want the date to end, Stetson took Lachelle for a walk on the Lake front... It was beautiful! The rest is history! #GoBears
