Question

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

For our wedding we kindly request formal evening attire. We suggest men to wear a dark colored suite with a white dress shirt and tie or a tuxedo. And for women we suggest a floor length gown, a dressy midi dress, or a formal pantsuit.

Am I allowed to bring a plus-one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we can only accommodate guests who are formally invited. If you've received a plus one, they'll be specifically addressed on the invitation and included in the RSVP. Otherwise, we ask that only the named people in the invitation are in attendance. Thank you for understanding!

Is there parking available near your wedding venue?

Answer

For guests that wish to drive to the wedding, there is free on-site parking.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will be outdoors on the 18th lawn at Sea Pines Country Club and our reception will take place indoors. There will be signs upon arrival to the venue with directions to the ceremony location. Guests will be walking on grass to the ceremony. For that reason, stilettos or otherwise-thin heels are not recommended.

Where do you recommend guests to stay? Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Answer

There are so many condos, villas, and homes available for short term rental within Sea Pines. Since HHI is a vacation destination and we anticipated many of our guests to be traveling with friend groups and family, we encourage those guests to look into short term rentals within Sea Pines or on Hilton Head Island. Most of these accommodations are cheaper or comparable to hotels in the area. If renting a condo, villa, or house is not for you, take a look at our Travel section of our wedding website for our hotel recommendations.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

We love your children, but our wedding is exclusively for adults with the exception of the family who are a part of our wedding party.

What is the dress code for the Welcome Party?

Answer

For our welcome party at Harbour Town Yacht club, the dress code is “Cowboy” cocktail attire. “Cowboy” Cocktail attire suggests a cocktail styles dresses for women and a suit or sports coat for men, with Western elements incorporated through footwear and accessories, like cowboy boots and hat.
