FAQs

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving on Thursday or Friday evening to check in & acclimate to the altitude. Check in at the Cliff Lodge begins at 4:00 pm.

Question

Can I bring a guest or my children?

Answer

This will be an adults-only celebration and we kindly ask that only the people listed on your invitation attend.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

At 8,000 feet—Snowbird tends to be almost 20 degrees cooler than Salt Lake City. Pack light clothes for time in the valley and bring a jacket or wrap for evenings at the resort. Mountain weather can also change quickly, so having a layer handy is always a good idea. We recommend checking forecasts for Snowbird Resort rather than Salt Lake City when packing.

Question

Is transportation provided?

Answer

Once you’re at the resort, everything is within walking distance. Please refer to the Travel page for additional details on getting to Snowbird.

Question

What should I wear to the Welcome Party?

Answer

Attire: Mountain Cocktail Think of it as what you’d wear to a nice dinner on vacation — put-together but relaxed. Women: Dresses of any length, a skirt or pants with a nice top, or a jumpsuit Men: Pants with a button-down, polo, or sport coat The welcome party is outdoors around sunset, so we recommend bringing a light layer — it can get chilly as the evening goes on!
