We're doing the dang thing!

It all started with the class of 2022 picture at our freshman year orientation. Sitting just a row apart, Ellen got to witness Carter's bravery when a bumble bee decided to buzz around him. A sliding comment was made to Abrielle Leake (Ellen's then-roommate, we love her <3) about the cute boy who was afraid of a bumble bee. Fast forward, Ellen and Carter became part of a tight friend group. Their friendship grew with Taco Tuesdays and group pre-class registration morning futon sleepovers that brought everyone close. As relationship dynamics changed it was clear that something was there but life (and Covid) threw a wrench in everyone's timeline. The relationship still progressed with both excitement and patience. Soon enough we found ourselves living together in Monroe with our two dogs. This little life that we have built together has been nothing short of amazing.
