Jill and Sean started their careers together not knowing what the future would hold. On the first day of work, they went from strangers to colleagues along with 20 other college graduates. Everyone became fast friends throughout the first few weeks of training. Although eventually assigned to different roles at the company, they stayed in touch and gradually built a strong friendship. Over the next few months, Jill and Sean got to know each other on a more personal level. They would go on walks during lunch breaks, started hanging out on weekends & intermixing close friends all while trying to ignore the fact they were perfect for each other. In 2015, a year later, Jill and Sean decided to see if this "work friendship" could turn into something more. Both finance majors, they obviously had to run a careful 'analysis' on their decision (kidding...but not really). The conversation went something like this: WORST CASE: Current friendship would (most likely) never be the same. BEST CASE: Eventually get married & live happily ever after....right? On June 26th, their best case will become their best day.
Although 100% chance of rain the entire day, Sean still pulled off the ultimate surprise. He tricked Jill to dress up for dinner and a charity event at Rivers Casino in Rosemont, IL because somehow he had to bring her back to the location where it all started. Sean's mom constructed the "fake" text inviting them both so it was believable, otherwise spending a Saturday night near the ole work building is a hard sell. He popped the question near a bench in the outdoor courtyard where countless lunch break walks took place. This spot was extra special because it's where they sat and (finally) made plans to go on their first real date.
