Do I need to wear a tux for black-tie?

Answer

Although the dress code is 'black-tie' there is no expectation to wear a traditional tux, a dark suit and white shirt would be on theme.

Is this a cocktail or sit down wedding?

Answer

We're glad you asked! Our wedding will be a sit down, shared plate experience so please let us know of any dietary requirements.

What should we get the newly weds?

Answer

If you would like to give us a gift, we would be most appreciative for money in our wishing well to support our early days as newly weds.

How do I get to and from the venue?

Answer

There are a few options in regard to travel. We will have buses running to and from the venue for those staying back in Adelaide. For those who are wanting to stay in the area, we would recommend booking a taxi service prior to the day. BUS INFORMATION: Buses will leave from The Highway (290 Anzac Highway) at 2pm, however please arrive by 1:50pm at the latest. The buses will then depart the venue at the end of the night around 11:30pm for The Highway.

Are kids allowed?

Answer

As much as we love the little ones in our lives, our wedding will be adults only.

What if we want to book accomodation?

Answer

For those travelling and needing a place to stay, or for those wanting a little getaway, there are many options around The Currant Shed or in the surrounding McLaren Vale area. We would recommend booking as soon as possible to avoid missing out as we know there is another wedding nearby. If you are staying in the area, please also book transportation ahead of time if required.

Will there be a recovery?

Answer

Absolutely! Yes, we will be hosting a recovery on the Sunday, 12pm at The Gilbert Street Hotel. We have space reserved in the garden area, so please feel free to pop in!
