Colors: To help create a coordinated look for our photos, we kindly ask that you wear shades of brown, tan, or muted greens like sage or olive. We’d love to capture a photo with each of you after the ceremony, and this will help everyone blend together beautifully in the pictures. Attire: We’re going for a polished yet relaxed atmosphere that reflects the elegance of the day. Please dress in a way that feels festive and respectful of the occasion. For men, blue jeans with no rips and button-up shirts are perfect. Slacks and vests are welcome but not required. For women, a nice dress, skirt, or blue jeans with no rips paired with an appropriate blouse works beautifully.
Yes, the ceremony will be held outdoors in front of the Douglas County Historic Court House. While we’re hoping for sunshine, we know Nevada weather can be unpredictable, so we recommend coming prepared for any weather conditions! Dinner will be indoors.

The Douglas County Historic Court House 1616 8th St, Minden, Nv 89423
There is a parking lot behind the courthouse that you can access from 9th Street. You can also find street parking along 8th Street. Feel free to park anywhere that’s convenient!
Please gather on the grass directly in front of the courthouse steps when you arrive. The bride and groom will be centered on the bottom of the stairs for the ceremony. NOTE: All guests will be standing! We can use the courthouse premises for the ceremony but are not allowed to set up chairs.

The restaurant and court house are 0.1 miles apart we welcome you to walk with us to the restaurant, and leave your car parked as is. Or you may drive your vehicle over the restaurant parking lot if that is more convenient for your needs!
