What is the dress code?

Answer

We can’t wait to see all of our guests dressed up and celebrating with us! Our dress code is Formal Cocktail attire. For women, this means tea length to long dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or elegant cocktail attire. For men, suits with a tie or bowtie are perfect. If you’d like to lean into the 1920s / Great Gatsby theme, we would absolutely love that! Feel free to incorporate fun vintage-inspired elements into your outfit. To help the evening’s theme unfold throughout the celebration, we kindly ask that any statement accessories (such as hats, headpieces, feather accents, etc.) be saved until cocktail hour. From cocktail hour onward, please feel free to fully embrace the Gatsby spirit for the rest of the evening! The 1920s theme will begin to appear during cocktail hour, continue through dinner, and truly come to life during the reception and dancing. What is the timeline of events on wedding day (June 27, 2026)?

Answer

Ceremony: 1:30 PM – 2:10 PM Cocktail Hour: 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM Dinner: 5:45 PM – 7:30 PM Reception, Dancing & Casino Games: 7:30 PM – 10:00 PM Shuttle service will run between the hotel(Quality Inn Upper Sandusky) and the reception venue (Carey Brewing Station) throughout the evening. We kindly ask that all guests exit the venue by 10:00 PM, so please plan transportation accordingly if you do not plan to use the shuttle. We are so grateful to celebrate this special day with you and hope you can join us from beginning to end!

What time should I arrive at the Ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 1:30 PM. We kindly ask guests to arrive between 1:00–1:15 PM to allow time to grab your welcome favor and find your seat before the ceremony begins!

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Of course!! The bar will be open throughout the celebration, so raise a glass, sip something spirited, and celebrate with us in true Gatsby fashion!

Will the ceremony and reception be at the same location?

Answer

No, the ceremony and reception will be held at separate locations. The ceremony will take place at Scarlet Oaks Estate (13754 US-68, Findlay, OH 45840), and the reception will follow at The Carey Brewing Station. We know traveling between venues can be a bit of an ask, so we truly appreciate guests who join us for the ceremony. We’ll have a welcome favor waiting for you when you arrive as a small thank you for celebrating the moment with us! Transportation will be provided between the hotel and the reception venue. Please plan your own travel to the ceremony and back to the hotel.

We respectfully request no children, allowing all of our guests to enjoy an adults-only evening.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Guests will need to arrange their own transportation to the ceremony. Afterward, a shuttle will bring guests from the hotel to the reception so everyone can arrive ready to celebrate safely!

Unfortunately, due to the nature of our catering, we are unable to accommodate individual food allergies or dietary restrictions.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To ensure we can accommodate all of our beloved guests, only those named on your invitation are included. If you have been given a plus one, it will be indicated when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, parking will be available at both the ceremony and reception venues. At the ceremony location, golf cart rides will also be available for guests who may need assistance getting to the ceremony area from the parking lot.

Our ceremony will move indoors at the same location.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the event. We have professional photographers to capture every moment so we can unplug and enjoy!
