The Wellers

Lexy and Josh met on a bike ride with the Montana State University Triathlon Club. Our teammates convinced Josh to chase after one of the strongest riders in the group on our large climb for the day. Josh tried a bit too hard to keep up with Abbie and suffered an asthma attack at the top that forced him off his bike. He waited for Lexy, the last rider in the group to make it to the summit so that he could ride down the hill with somebody. From there the rest is history.

Josh invited Lexy on a date to Hyalite Reservoir in February to go take pictures at one of our favorite spots. They hiked three miles through the snow into Palisade Falls only to find it very busy with people climbing the frozen waterfall. Josh then had to improvise and took Lexy on a walk down a snowshoe trail until he found a clearing large enough to take pictures. Josh set up the camera in three feet of snow while Lexy cleared a spot for us to stand. Before she knew it he was on one knee and he asked if she would marry him.
