The Beginning of Forever

In December 2023, fate and a very random FaceTime call brought MacKenzie and Tristan together through their mutual friend, Lynn. When Lynn first showed Tristan a picture of MacKenzie, he immediately thought she was beautiful and couldn’t resist reaching out. From the very first message, something just clicked. What began as casual conversation quickly turned into something special. On their first date, they talked like they had known each other forever. Laughter came easily, the connection was instant, and any idea of keeping things “not serious” quickly disappeared. MacKenzie had a feeling that night that Tristan might just be the one, and as time went on, that feeling only grew stronger. Their relationship blossomed effortlessly. Tristan soon asked MacKenzie to be his girlfriend in the most unexpected and endearing way...while brushing their teeth after watching a TV show about love and loss. Because, as Tristan said, why wait if you know they’re the one? From that moment forward, they became inseparable. Tristan stepped into the role of “daddy” for MacKenzie’s daughter with love, patience, and devotion, and together they built a home filled with laughter, warmth, and endless memories. Through late-night talks, tough days, and countless little moments, they found in each other a love that felt safe, steady, and meant to be. In October, their hearts grew even fuller when they found out they were expecting their first child together, another beautiful girl. And in June 2025, they officially became a family of four. During a magical trip to Disneyland, Tristan made their fairytale complete when he surprised MacKenzie with a proposal she’ll never forget.
