We’re getting married!

Who knew celebrating a friend's 30th birthday would lead to love? (shoutout to their bridesmaid Joy for being born) Reluctant Blake was hesitant to attend the party. He was tired and unsure if he was up for the event but a friend told him “hot single girls will be there” and that was the nudge he needed to go. Meanwhile, Lauren was telling her roommate that she was not intending on meeting any guys at this party and was just going to focus on celebrating her friend. When Lauren arrived at the party she couldn’t help but notice the tall, yet goofy looking guy with crazy 70’s hair and a handlebar mustache. She noticed him but quickly moved on to have fun and party with her friends. After many many hours of socializing and meeting everyone but each other, some how they ended up in a random conversation together. That random conversation lead to a deeper conversation, and before they knew it, they were abandoned by all their friends and left to share a tiny couch together. Blake being a total gentleman, searched everywhere to find a blanket and pillow to make Lauren more comfortable but there was nothing to be found. By the time Blake opened his eyes the next morning, Lauren had already left. Blake was confused and disappointed that she hadn't left her number, but he wasn't going to let that stop him. Lauren arrived home early that morning, and shared with her roommate that she did in fact meet a guy at the party but did not get his number. Upon waking from a very long and much needed nap, Lauren saw that Blake had DM'ed her on instagram. The goofy guy with the 70's hair and handlebar mustache did indeed meet a 'hot single girl' at the party and would eventually ask her on a first date. And well.. the rest is history.
