Let's Party!

HOW WE MET: Alicia and Jacob met during their freshman year of high school. Jacob claims this is when he started to have a crush on Alicia but the truth is unclear. They had mutual friends and remained friends over high school until senior year when Alicia claims she started liking him first and kept waiting for him to like her back. Eventually, they finally got together but who liked who first will always be their biggest debate. COLLEGE: Alicia and Jacob both were able to go to college in Minneapolis where they got to explore the Twin Cities and find favorite local restaurants and bars. A few years later, Alicia went to Oklahoma for graduate school and they had to figure out long distance for a year. They found a meet up spot in Kansas and started their favorite tradition of going to Oktoberfests for their anniversary. Thankfully, long distance ended when Jacob got accepted into graduate school in Oklahoma! The adventure continued when they moved to Michigan for Jacob's internship! THE PROPOSAL: After 10 plus years, something about Michigan made Jacob ready to propose. For their 11 year anniversary they planned on visiting Canada but decided last minute to change their trip to Mackinac Island. Jacob was planning on proposing this weekend so he had to change all his details for this special day. They spent the day biking along the island when Jacob pulled over to hike some bluffs overlooking Lake Huron and that's where he asked Alicia to marry him. She of course said yes! Ollie was very excited to hear that his humans are getting meowied.
