When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by August 1, 2027. We kindly ask that you respond by this date so we can finalize details with our vendors.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM. We recommend arriving 15-20 minutes early to allow time for parking and seating.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is cocktail attire. We encourage guests to dress in semi-formal styles, such as cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or slacks with a button down or jacket. We kindly ask that guest avoid wearing white or ivory. As our ceremony and reception will be held outdoors, we also recommend choosing comfortable footwear suitable for uneven ground.

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will be held outdoors at our home. We recommend dressing comfortably for the setting and keeping the outdoor environment in mind.

What kind of shoes should I wear?

Answer

As our wedding will be held outdoors, we recommend wearing comfortable footwear, suitable for uneven ground. Wedges, block heels, dressy flats, or boots are great options. Stilettos or thin heels may be difficult to walk in on the terrain.

Can I bring a date?

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests who are formally listed on the invitation. We kindly ask that no additional guests or plus ones be brought unless they are specifically included. Thank you for understanding as we keep our celebration intimate.

While we love your little ones, we are only able to accommodate children who are specifically listed on the invitation. Due to limited space, we kindly ask that no additional children be brought. We appreciate your understanding as we plan our celebration.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

If you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know when you RSVP. We will do our best to accommodate and ensure there are options available for you.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We recommend the Best Western located just off the freeway near our home in Colfax for guest who would like to stay nearby. We are currently working on arranging a possible discount for our guests, and we will share more details as they become available. There are also additional accommodations in surrounding areas for those who prefer other options.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, parking will be available on-site for both the ceremony and reception. Please follow posted signs and any directions provided upon arrival. We recommend arriving early to allow time for parking and getting settled before the ceremony begins.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We will not be providing transportation to and from the ceremony or reception. Guests are welcome to drive and parking will be available on-site. If you plan to enjoy drinks during the celebration, we recommend arranging a safe ride home or back to your accommodations.

Where exactly is the venue located?

Answer

Our wedding will be held at our home, located just outside of Colfax on Iowa Hill Road. We are the first house on the right after turning onto Iowa Hill Road from Canyon Way Road. The property is easily accessible from both the Canyon Way and Colfax exits, and is located near Hills Flat Lumber and just across the freeway from the Best Western. Additional details and directions will be provided closer to the wedding date.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We will be hosting a small rehearsal dinner with our immediate family and wedding party. We look forward to celebrating with all of our guests at the ceremony and reception!
