They found their forever love a little later in life but it’s been amazing, fun-filled ride from the very start. It all began through a dating app, believe it or not. We are living in 2025, after all. At first, there was some hesitation in our communication, as we were both testing the waters. But Brian, persistent as ever, eventually convinced Rachele on a date. But only after a few non replies, he invited her to dog beach with Odie. With a reserved spirit, she agreed and met Brian there. Brian arrived on his OneWheel, awaiting Rachele. She didn’t know what that thing was. She wasn’t sure if he lived nearby, was a vagrant, or was just moseying around on some electric contraption. She soon found out he did live close by, and they ended up having a great time on the beach at sunset. They both wanted to see more of each other. They met two more times over the next three days—just before Brian left for Pennsylvania to celebrate his Nan’s 99th birthday. As he left, Rachele thought, Well, I’ll give it a week and see what happens, though she wasn’t too optimistic about whether he’d keep in touch. But he did—every single day. Brian had decided to make a move and let her know she was on his mind. There was something about her—something different from anyone he had ever met. Rachele was happy to hear it, and when he returned, they saw each other the very next day. They were hooked. Since then, they’ve spent each day falling a little more in love, even as they try to get their fur babies to just get along already.
